I must confess that when I viewed the preview of this workout and saw all the power lunges and burpee moves, I was a bit intimidated (I was envisioning another Tabatcise-type workout that you need to be geared up for).

Yesterday, I actually ejected the DVD after watching the preview because I just didn't have the energy and inserted Rhythmic Step instead.

But this morning at 5:30 a.m. it was on the calendar as part of my rotation, I gave it a go, despite my misgivings. I'm so glad I did!

This workout is quite fun, and I really enjoyed the music! I would say don't be afraid to try it, because now I can't wait to do it again!

Thanks Cathe! I can't even believe I doubted you for a moment! I am determined to improve.

I thoroughly enjoyed performing this workout. I have Cathe OnDemand, so I tried it tonight, as I was in the mood for something a little different. For an almost 50 minute workout, the time actually flew by. I am drenched in sweat, burned a ton of calories, and worked up a sweat that literally dripped off me. The modifications are a great addition, too, as they will enable a wide variety of fitness levels to complete the workout.

This is an incredible cardio workout.  I am just coming out of a lower back injury, so I was happy to see she has an addition of low impact modifications to add to your screen.  This really helps. After so many years and many, many DVDs, Cathe keeps giving us a variety in her moves and workouts.  This is another keeper for your library.

I love this workout.  I did it once all the way through...then I practiced the areas where the footwork was super fast.  I prefer to do this one without the music as I am hard of hearing and could not hear Cathe's cues.  With the music I could not follow her cues.  When I learn the routine better I will add music back to the workout.  This one is so much fun.  I love the modifications shown and I love the floot, mat, step variety!

Creative exercises rotating between higher impact/intensity for a few moves then followed by a lower impact/intensity as a "break". I did enjoy and also broke a good sweat. The moves were easy to follow, cueing great, music just alright. This routine is filled with athletic drills and jumps but she always states modifications. IMO some of her other DVD's do provide tougher cardio, but at this stage in my life (46), I'm all about just having fun with it and I was provided just that with this workout! Please note that the back cover says workout is 32 minutes and a 40 minute full with warm-up and cool down; however, this is a misprint as the workout itself is about 40 minutes and with warm-up and cool down it clocked in around 49 minutes. No biggie for me just FYI not to get caught off guard at 40 min and you're still going!
