The Intensity Series Volume 2 contains two Cathe workouts, Boot Camp and Muscle Endurance plus a Bonus Combo.

Boot Camp Boot Camp exercise DVD.....Hang on to your hats because there is literally not a minute to waste in this head to toe fitness workout. With every 60 seconds that tick by, youíll be jumping, pumping, pushing, and crunching your way to a fitter you. We won't promise any fancy military talk here, but we will promise a fancy military press ....did somebody say "terminators", yikes! Load up, lace up, and let's go! Equipment needed: a 14 inch tall bench, a barbell, various weighted dumbbells, and a medicine ball (we will use an 8 pound medicine ball) PreMix Combos: We've included 8 Premix Combos with this workout, including: 1) Cardio Only 2) Core Only 3) Kickbox Only 4) Upper Body Only 5) Lower Body Only 6) Lower and Upper Body Only 7) Cardio and Lower Body Only 8) Everything but core.

Boot Camp Format: warm-up (5 1/2 min.), eight cycles of cardio, lower body, upper body, core (51 min.), stretch (1 1/2 min.) Total = 58 min.

Muscle Endurance exercise DVD: This high rep, total body conditioning workout not only increases functional fitness gains, but it promotes nicely shaped and defined muscles. You'll experience maximum muscular endurance gains along with strength gains as you challenge each of the major muscle groups through a wide variety of exercises. Do this workout one to three times per week and you'll soon enjoy the benefits of improved posture, increased bone density, and an overall healthy, happier you. Equipment needed: A step bench, barbell, various weighted dumbbells, and a medicine ball (we will use an 8 pound medicine ball)

Muscle Endurance Format: warm-up (6 min.), weight training (45 min.), Abs (9 1/2 min.), stretch (4 min.) Total = 64 1/2 min.

You know it's a tough workout when Cathe cannot speak because she is so out of air.  This is a seriously intense and fast moving class (Boot camp).

I am getting back into exercising after years of neglect so I cannot do many of the cardio and ab segments, but I did my own stuff when necessary and I joined back in when I was able.  The class was still really tough- but as others note - it goes by fast.

I LOVE the rotation of body parts and the one minute cardio.  Made me feel like I could complete the exercise because it would not last long.

Another brilliant class by Cathe!

Very effective workouts! May 31, 2012

I've been loving these workouts.  With the boot camp workout I feel I get a great workout, but I'm not worn out afterwards.  I believe easier than hardcore extreme if you're comparing intensity, but the core work, to me, is well worth doing this workout over and over.  Between the kickbox kicks and the core, I've had great results in tummy, back and hip area.  With the weight segments, I'll rewind to do extra squats/back/biceps just to give myself an extra push.

With muscle endurance I've been doing the lower body premix mostly but first I do athletic training lower body and then muscle endurance lower body.  Awesome workout.  Within 7 to 8 eight hours, it'll be a little harder to walk around.  I just did the upper body premix this week, and I felt that I got a great upper body workout.

Both of these workouts are top-notch (as are all Cathe's DVDs). I was a little nervous about the Bootcamp workout. I thought I was going to be in trouble. But even though it's tough, it is so much fun the time flies by. I have several bootcamp DVDs, but Cathe's is the best as far as I'm concerned.

BTW, muscle endurance is also first rate. I really felt the DOMS next day. It's a great rotation to add to other Cathe weight workouts.

I love boot camp. It incinerates calories. If you like a challenging, fast-paced, don't know if you can finish it type workout, this is awesome.
