Low Impact Circuit is a 75 minute intermediate to advanced low-impact total bodyworkout that Cathe has designed to be done on a 6 or 8 inch step. If you're looking for a workout that is joint friendly, but still challenging, then this workout is for you. Equipment used in this workout includes: a long step, dynaband, light dumbbells and a barbell with a fixed weight. Here is the breakdown of Low Impact Circuit:

I have had this workout for years, but haven't pulled it out in awhile.  I am so glad I did today, because I feel great!  It's a longer one, but the time flies due to the variety, music and fun moves. .  I love circuit workouts, and Cathe is the all time best at putting them together.  I have been working out to Cathe's newer workouts, which are stellar too, but this inspired me to dust off Drill Max & Body Max 2 as well.  Her videos are top notch!!

The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 is because there aren't enough leg resistance exercises; it is cardio step with mostly upper body resistance circuits; you can always up the weights to make it a more advanced version too. The abs section at the end really tests your endurance to finish!

I love this DVD.  I sometimes do the cardio only and it's a great step workout.  The entire circuit is challenging without being too tough (I can do the entire thing unlike some of her more advanced DVDs).  The band work with the barbell is fabulous.  My biceps burn the next day every time.

I have almost all of Cathe's DVDs and I just purchased this one. I really love her older workouts and they are just as up-to-date as her newer ones. Still state of the art!

What I enjoyed about this one was the set barbell weight throughout (I can never adjust my plates on my barbell as fast as they can!). And there's only one set of weights needed too.

This is a gem and is a great addition to any library.

...There was this wonderful workout. I have always loved the "Step + Weight" format, and this workout will have you sweating buckets in no time.  Choreography is just complicated enough, and VERY intense despite being "low impact."  And don't miss the Bonus Cardio chapter tacked on to the end - another Cathe Winner!
