This 57-minute step and HIIT cardio DVD mixes high intensity cardio types for a maximum intensity workout with zero dread factor! This workout is all about fierce fun and major sweat for an ultimate fat and calorie burn! You're going to have a blast and you'll find yourself reaching for this workout again and again. You'll kick off this routine with a solid step workout segment to get the cardio going and get warmed up for the more intense segments that follow! Next up is Intensity step. In this segment you'll continue the step cardio format, but you'll do step blasts in-between each mini combo to get your metabolism fired up and your heart pumping! Then you'll move your step out of the way for two high intensity interval training segments! HiiT training is excellent for weight-loss and overall cardio conditioning because it burns a major amount of calories in a very short amount a time. The first of the two HiiT segments is high impact and will have you digging deep for plyometric power and agility. The second segment is low impact! It's just as dynamic and just as tough, but with no jumping. Your feet will stay grounded, but your heart rate will be high! This at-home exercise DVD also includes a bonus Boot Camp segment to help tone and tighten your muscles with the use of weighted dumbbells and compound strength training exercises. Also included are 9 workout premixes to give you additional variety and workout options! You can do this workout it in its entirety for the ultimate challenge or do any of the individual exercise segments for a mini explosive workout when you are short on time and still want a quick, solid sweat!

I have had this workout for awhile now and I still struggle to get through it. I completely dread it because it is so hard! However, by the time I am done I feel quite accomplished. Most of Cathe's workouts seem to get a tad bit easier over time; this is one of the exceptions, it has remained my nemesis. One day I will conquer it without having to take breaks. That being said, i burned over 500 calories so it is worth the pain. I highly recommend it for those seeking a challenge.

I think the name says it all. Anytime burpees are considered a 'break' you know you are in for it. Ha! The first half is step and the second half is HIIT. It's a super fun workout that seriously burns a lot of calories. I contemplate just dropping dead several times during the hour. The step portion is very easy to learn as well. I had it down after two times through, and I am very challenged when it comes to step choreography. Heart rate was soaring all the way thru. I highly recommend this workout! Side note: I did not do the bootcamp bonus section so I am not commenting on that part. I have no idea how anyone can keep going after an hour. I'm spent by that point.

I exercise around 10 hours a week, between 12 and 15 workouts a week. I consider myself relatively fit but I cannot get through this dvd without making breaks, gasping for air and spraying myself with water. The amount of calories and the after-burn (I measure it all) is ridiculous! Massive! The moment I hear the music I want to do it again and again, I just love it! Some mornings I do 20 min and others 60 it is just so addictive. I use it's warmup for other workouts as it gives me the kick I need to start. I love the outfits, the tights with that yellow piping. Love the music, love it 100%. I cannot imagine not having this in my weekly routine.

This one is a gem. The title says it all. Love the step portion, the choreography is easy to learn, fun, and will put you at the high end of your cardio work zone. You'll stay there, too. The other sections are likewise fun, easy to learn, and effective. The premix options are the icing on the cake.

Just got this dvd and did it for the first time, wow! It was fun, time went fast and boy, did I burn the calories! :) I like the mix of step, bootcamp type moves, HIIT, low impact - mixing it up is great.
