Very Misleading Title August 31, 2017

I love Cathe and own over 30 of here DVDs, but I was really disappointed with the DVD.   The majority of the workout was doing a variety of squads and lunges instead of doing mostly exercises that isolate and work the gluts.  While squads and lunges do work your gluts, they actually work your thighs more.  After doing the whole workout I was very disappointed because I felt my thighs got more work than my gluts.  So the workout title and description is very misleading.

First off, I love Cathe and always add her workouts to my routine every week- HOWEVER, I am totally disappointed with this workout video for many reasons.

While I don't argue that squat and lunge exercises do somewhat target the glutes, they are not the best glute exercises- and you can actually do without them in your glute routine. They are definitely excellent leg exercises and might make your glutes sore at first, but you need to work them from different angles to achieve great results.

Unfortunately, this is really an outdated and limited way to work the glutes, and I wish Cathe would create workouts that truly target the glutes, such as, bridges, hip thrusts, leg extensions, etc, and stop being so obsessed with squats and lunges. If I even gave this 2 stars is only because it does look like a good leg workout and because Cathe is the queen of leg workouts, but the title is very misleading.

This is a TOUGH workout and a great example of how body weight exercises combined with lighter weights can be very effective.  I am thankful that this workout is low impact and targets a trouble zone of mine!

If you are on the fence about purchasing this one, do it!  It's a great workout. My body felt tighter and stronger after doing this video. Sore the next couple of days so I know this worked muscle fibers that have been sleeping . . .  not sure how Cathe does it.

Prepare for Doms! October 20, 2013

I have not major DOMs in my glutes in years.....this workout induced major Doms deep inside my glutes and thighs.  I do the extreme version and time just flies. This is  my favorite glute workout ever and I have done all of Cathe's glute workouts (including STS). I love the variety of this video.  Time just flies!  If I could give this workout 100 stars I would!
