OMG! This one is tough !!! Easy to follow moves but your muscles (thighs and buttocks particularly) will be exhausted and sore... and the abdominals are hard. Wow!! This is an amazing workout. Thank you Cathe and please do another dvd using the barre, it is great and best of all , different.

I downloaded this DVD because I wanted a low impact but challenging workout, and this turned out to be more than I expected! I absolutely love this DVD, it's challenging for me but doable even for a beginner. I was exhausted when done and felt I got the best workout. Highly recommend this for anyone! Love, love, love this DVD!!!!!

I hope Cathe makes more of these! I've been doing Cathe since 1997 and I'm an advanced exerciser. I do the same weight Cathe does in her workouts, so I can lift a lot! But this workout will make you feel it (mostly in the lower body) like no weight workout! This dvd is such a compliment to heavy weight workouts. You're using your muscles differently and it's tough! I've been doing Callanetics, Barre workouts, Lotte Berk, etc... and this is just a more "Cathe" version of those - which I love!!

It took me 6 weeks of doing Turbo Barre once per week before I could do it all without pausing. Now I don't need to break, but it is still challenging. I see a real improvement in my legs, more than with Cathe's other lower body targeted workouts. Granted, everyone is different and what works for one, may not work for others, but this one is definitely effective for me.
I'm not a fan of the short weight section at the beginning of the workout. It doesn't seem like it fits with the rest of the program and it's not enough to make a dent in cardio or strength in my opinion.
I find myself looking forward to doing this DVD. I also really love being barefoot! It's easy to pull out a chair and a looped band and get cranking.
