Slide N Glide Exercise DVD

Get ready cuz were gonna Slide and Glide into all out, low impact, high intensity action. Thats right, this workout simply never slows down.

After a solid 20 minute super intense, low impact, cardio slide and glide segment, you’ll finish off with a Slide and Glide total body workout. And guess what? You’ll do all of this with nothing but your Slide and Glide discs, a Firewalker band and a mat. Think it’s impossible for it to hurt so good? I invite you to join us and see for yourself!

Now, before you get started I would like to go over a few things you need to know about using your Fitness by Cathe Slide and Glide discs.

First, make sure to select the right disc set up for your type of flooring. The normal Fitness by Cathe orange discs work best on carpeted floors and these same orange discs covered in the included black fabric, are designed for wooden and most vinyl floors. So go ahead and experiment to see which disc arrangement works best for your type of flooring.

Next, you need to practice using your Fitness by Cathe discs- most especially in the standing position- before attempting any of these workouts so that you will be familiar with how to safely use them for each exercise.

Always make sure to place the ball of each foot in the middle of your disc with your heel hanging over the edge. When your heel is in the down position it assists you in your push off. Then as you glide, slightly lift your heel to free up your movement. Always remember to place your heel down on the floor to stop any sliding exercise. This heel down position will act as your brake and stop any sliding movement for better stability and control.

This workout features our “vocals only” option which allows you to play your own music if desired.

SUPER FUN WORKOUT! March 2, 2012

This is my 3rd DVD I've purchased in the Low Impact Series and I wasn't sure I'd like it at first b/c the first of Cathe's workouts I tried with the discs (I actually used furniture sliders I already had), was a little "weird" at first, but the more I used them the more I liked them. They stretch and work the muscles in your legs soooo much more than if you didn't use them and I definitely felt it the next day! Next, I'm going to try the "double trouble" premix section and see if I can get through all of it, not so sure I'll be able to at first! And next, I'm going to purchase Turbo Barre and see how that works! I'm slowly building up a collection of Cathe's DVDs and I love every one of them so far! I actually look forward to working out now where as I was getting soooo bored with my old DVDS!

I loved this workout! the music was super fun and i loved the option of doubletrouble cardio..it reminds me of the slide too..it is a hard workout but so much fun you dont even realize it ..till the next day! cant wait for a second one!

Cathe never disappoints. Many years ago I had the slide which was a great concept but it would not stay put on the floor. It would slide across the room as I worked out.

All these years later I see Cathe has a new version. I loved the concept of the slide workout so I bought the discs and DVD. I LOVE IT! I was sure I would fall off but it was easy to catch on and really got my heart rate up and reallyt targets the inner/outer thighs. For a change, I did the slide cardio, followed by Cathes' boxing heavy bag workout for a great 1 hr cardio session.

Its a great addition to my DVD collection.

Don't under estimate this workout.  I agree with the previous reviewer.  It's harder than it looks, but super fun.  Get ready to work hard.

I love, love, love this workout. I didn't think you could get such a great cardio/leg/ab workout with this dvd. I was wrong. I is amazing how this works your legs and the deeper you go, the more it burns. The ab work is amazing and don't think it's only the the end, it's the whole workout. Great Job Cathe!!!
