STS Tower Strengths and Improvements |

I like the tower for working on pullups and chinups. I didn't receive any poster showing exercises to do. Improvements that can make the tower better is wider in width or make it adjustable as it is too narrow when doing bench presses. For example, when doing bench presses with a barbell your hands need to be positioned as far out near the weights so you don't put extra stress on your wrists and other parts of your arm and joints. You can't do this when the barbell is sitting on the STS tower as the tower's width is too narrow. If this was changed it would be great.

It gets the job done, but quality lacking |

The tower works as needed, but the one I received was lacking in quality. The foam on the bar was ripped and the replacement came without the spring to hold it onto the tower. Instead of contacting customer service again and waiting for the replacement I took the spring from the original on with the rip in the foam and put it on the new one. It works alright, but I'm still very disappointed in the quality. I have to continually fix it by pushing the black plastic things that surround the pole back into place even though it's not being put up and down a lot. It does get the job done, but I expected better quality.

I have set a fitness goal for myself of doing a real pull up, however I could not even do one and was having a VERY hard time trying to "work up" to it. I am now actually making progress towards this goal by using this push pull tower. Being able to start by doing pull ups in a supine position, makes all the difference. That was still very hard for me at first, but I am seeing results and getting stronger. I can now do 8 supine pull ups with decent form. When I started I could not do one with decent form! I am thrilled at my progress with this tower and recommend it to anyone who may be in the same situation, wanting to do pull ups, but can't do even one from a hanging position, and also does not want to join a gym only to use the assisted pull up machines.

This is such a cool piece of equipment and worth the price; great idea, and it is perfect for a home gym. The poster that comes with it shows some nice exercises and stretches; it will totally help me reach my fitness goals - well, that and Cathe! Thanks, Cathe!

Nice equipment to have for STS |

This is a decent piece of equipment. It doesn’t wobble much when using it. I bought it for the STS workouts, but it can be use for other things. For example, stretches for legs and arms, putting the barbell between STS sections so that you won't have to keep picking it up from the floor, etc. It comes with a poster which shows all other exercises you can do with it. I put the poster on the wall. I find out the chin ups and pull ups are very challenging to do with this piece of equipment, but I am working towards getting stronger arms to be able to do them easier. Overall, I think is a good equipment to have if you are doing the STS workouts.
