Tough and effective... May 16, 2017

This is an AWESOME, total body workout. You are alternating leg workouts withing the upper body workouts, which keeps your heart rate up, giving you a complete total body workout.  The exercises are both old and new, but the sequencing is different.  I love the added burn on the end of the workouts using the resistance band, Cathe never disappoints.  I'm so happy I ordered the Strong and Sweaty series. I hesitated since I have STS, but her approach on this series is VERY different, so you get a new variety of strength training. This keeps me from getting bored.

This is a really fun and different routine and is very doable even with the weight Cathe uses. It is a heavy weight/low rep workout.  Time flew by and as always, her directions are super.

I really liked alternating between upper and lower body. My heart rate went up and I was breathing a little heavier throughout. I rarely lift as heavy as Cathe but I still feel like I had a thorough workout. I feel invigorated, not exhausted. The abs are pretty exhausting, though.
