Fit Split is comprised of 4 workout DVDs that includes a short, but intense cardio routine followed by a focused weight routine. The purpose of this series is to allow an exerciser to easily fit their cardio and lifting into their routine in ways that are both time efficient and yet equally effective for hitting all areas of the body. So if you're short on time yet still looking for the best way to get the most comprehensive training routine in your limited time, this series is for you. One of the ways that we accomplish this with Fit Split is by utilizing Push/Pull training techniques. Separating the pull muscles from the push muscles allow for maximum muscle recruitment multiple days in a row while providing ample rest for one set of muscles while another is working. Fit Split Premixes also allow you to "split" your workout into separate cardio and strength routines each day allowing you to do your cardio in the morning and your strength routine in the evening - or you can do them on separate days.
I've included a variety of cardio types to assist in strengthening your overall endurance as well as a lower body focused workout and a metabolic training workout to round out the series and keep your muscles confused and working at their highest capacity.

Love the versatility and format June 2, 2018

I actually tore my medial meniscus while doing the shred cardio workout in this series! I was two blasts away from being finished with it and I loved it! An MRI revealed a clean tear so my sports med dr gave me the go ahead to continue working out, but no more jumping or high impact.  I am 62 and have been working out with Cathe for at least 22 years. Thank goodness for weights, and low impact workouts. 4 months have passed and I sometimes forget I have a knee injury, but I found out early that kickboxing was a very modifiable workout and this DVD has boxing bootcamp. I actually enjoy all the workouts on this dvd. . I often do the push and pull on the same day and boy is it thorough. I love ICE, love strong and sweaty, RWH and now this! Thank you Cathe!  Love the flexibility and versatility!

These are challenging and all new moves!  I like the variety of equipment and workouts.  Never boring!  Highly recommend to add to you Cathe collection.

I did not care for this series. I loved Cathe's Hitt series,  Xtrain, Ice etc. I am just not a fan of the music used or step routines.
Just wanted to share to maybe save others some disappointment.

Another Great Addition to The Library January 15, 2018

This series is a lot of fun with some new moves and lots of oldies too.  What I like about it is that it is truly a time saver and not a lot of equipment to put together.  

It is similar to her 4 Day Split series from about ten years ago (had did that fly by so fast?).  However, that 4 Day Split - even though most of the workouts are about 1 hour - took a lot more time to complete as each one had a lot of equipment.  So adding in the set up / put away, as I do not have a separate exercise room, took a lot more time.  Also, I think that one is more advanced.

This one is much more doable. Really, the cardio section of Shred Cardio is the most advanced / high impact / plyo of them all.  
I truly enjoyed all the cardio and weight sections.  Especially on the Pull Day / Mixed Cardio, Cathe had some new fantastic weight exercises.  And I loved the oldies on the cardio.  Brought back some great memories.  The view on the set (or lack of) is not my favorite.  Still, a great series.

I hate to say this but I don't love this series. I love the concept. It's very much like the 4 day split but the music was so not motivating and the moves very similar to old workouts. I had to turn off the work out half way and yes, I tried 3 of the 4 new workouts all with the same result.   I also  REALLY miss Amanda. I'm all for new stuff but I prefer the tried and true HIIT series, Xtrain, and 4 Day Split, Gym Style Series, Shock Cardio Series, ICE, and Strong and Sweaty.   I have been working out with Cathe since 2000.   I honestly would highly recommend her monthly service for $19.99 where you can have access to all her workouts and even work out with her at her gym. Best $20 I've spent in my life. This gives me the chance to sample all the new workouts before I want to purchase on DVD. I actually enjoy the Cathe  Live workouts better than this series and the music isn't that great on those workouts either. Mostly because she does new moves and different types of workouts.
