Cathe's Step IS Different from Regular Step January 8, 2013
Reviewer: Stephanie from Chicago, IL United States
I debated paying the extra money for Cathe's step versus purchasing the "Original" club step at Amazon for about $15.00 less plus no tax and free shipping. Both looked identical and per the reviewer below who states there is no difference, my hesitation increased. However, I asked Cathe customer service what the difference was, if any. They confirmed the surface was softer--more springy, and the rubber on top was softer, too. All true. Compared to the Original which I threw out after comparing the two, it's hands down much better and well worth the extra money. Obviously, Cathe knows steps.

Not Very Different from the Original Club Step April 19, 2011
Reviewer: Amy from Johnson City, TN United States
Personally I can not tell the difference between this step and the original Club Step.  Both are excellent steps!

I do a lot of step workouts and this step was introduced in conjunction with a pre-sale and I needed a new step.

If your original club step still works, then save your money.  If you need a new step, then this one would be the one I would purchase - esp. during pre sale when you can get 20% off products.

Cathe Step September 28, 2010
Reviewer: Young from Haverhill, MA United States
Very disappointed about this step!
Size was long enough but quality was not what I expected. I got uneven layered rubber top! Not safe to use this step. Wish I can return this step.

Much better! April 16, 2010
Reviewer: Mandy from Stanwood, WA United States
I've had the old Step Company step for years and although it was holding up ok from all my Cathe stepping, I had to get Cathe's new Step with Cathe's March discount.  The package was really damaged on arrival but the step survived.  It looks exactly like the Step Company step BUT the one thing that is much better is the top of the step is softer and has a little squish to it and is easier on the hands.  No more grid lines on my hands from doing pushups on my step.  Its easier to pivot.  Feels better for my feet. The step also has Cathe's name on it! Something I'm proud to use!  The Low Max dvd that comes with the step has a different generic cover as the original Low Max Cover(and not Fit TV cover either).. It a Low Max generic DVD.  It has a Altus orangish color.  But I'm happy to have it because its a great workout.  This step will take alot of blood, sweat and tears.  Well, maybe not blood, but you get the picture.

Thanks CoachCathe!
