Hard to use for intended purpose |

I like that I can use these in my STS rotation to add 2 pounds wben needed as I often need to do. However, they are extremely difficult to use. The zipper on one broke the first day I used the, while trying to put all 4 weights in it. Trying to stuff both pounds in each glove is a challenge and now with the zipper on one broken, when I only need one pound in there, they tend to fall out since I can't zip it closed. These gloves are also very difficult to get off. I am dissapointed.

Runs small |

I have a large hand and ordered these in L/XL but it was still very tight. The glove is FULLY covered. Not like the other 2LB gloves that are open at the palm. The 4lb gloves have 4, 1/2 lb little sandbags in each zipper pocket. So you can reduce weight by 1/2 poundage. The glove is well made. The zipper pocket is stuffed to the max so there is no room to fit in any more weight. Were talkin' stuffed sausage! It was kind of hard to get the little 1/2 pounds back in once you take it out. I don't have nails either. I saw that some of the STS gals had trouble getting the poundage in and zipper closed with long manicured nails. Anyway, I can't use these gloves because they are too small for my large hand. Kudos to Cathe for making heavier weighted gloves though. Great for STS!

Not well made |

I wanted these to allow increments for the STS workouts. I already had the 2-lb. ones and I wanted this increment as well.
I really did not like them. The weight packs are extremely difficlut to get into the opening on the back of the hand so it is very difficult to use them during the STS because I couldn't make the adjustments during the STS breaks.
Despite that, I continued to try to use them but the zipper (plastic) broke on my third use. I tossed them.
I love the concept but think that velcro closure straps would be better than the zippers. Also, the opening on the back of the hand needs to be bigger - the weight packs should not have to be forced in.

Difficult to adjust and run small |

I too have been very satisfied with most everything I have purchased from Cathe.com, but these are the exception. I ordered the small/medium and they are much too small, although my hands are on the small side. The zipper opening and pouch are, in my opinion, too small to get the 1/2 pound weight sacks into and out of easily. I love the idea of being able to increase poundage in tiny increments and Cathe makes it look so easy in STS! Given the relatively low price of the gloves, I do not want to incur the expense or go through the hassle of exchanging them for a larger size, so I offered to give them to a friend with smaller hands.

Buyer Beware!!!!! |

I think the concept of these gloves is great! But, first they run small!!! Buy the bigger size, I have worn mine only 3 times and the zipper is broke, to have them replaced would cost me $8-10 to ship back plus they want another $8.50 to return them to me!! They already cost enough, don't want to pay another $20 for a new pair. Last problem - the pouch that holds the weight is too small!! You have to fight to get the weights in, especially when you are working out, then fight to close the zipper!! Theing hard before buying! I love everything else Cathe I have bought - these not so much!
