After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitated to purchase this DVD. I am so happy I did. This workout is awesome. You sweat your butt off. Ok, it is not extreme like other Cathe Kickboxing workouts, but it is definitely advance. The music is FAB.

As some others mentioned, I think this is a good workout for an easy day. It has some different, interesting moves, but it doesn't come close to the cardio level of KickMax. I'd say it is also easier compared with Kick, Punch & Crunch, or even the kickbox on the 4-day Split. The core section, too, is not super intense. Overall, I'd say it is great for a beginner/intermediate, or a day when you don't have much energy.

Not as intense as others |

I pre-ordered the entire Cardio Series from Cathe waaaay back in Feb of 2009 and, after doing most of the DVDs several times, am now writing up some reviews. Of the MMA DVDs (Kickbox, Fusion and Boxing), Kickbox is my favorite. However, it's not Cathe-Intense. Kick, Punch & Crunch is WAY more intense, as is the 30-minute Kickbox workout on the 4-Day Split DVD. I get more of burn in 30 minutes from that one than I do from MMA Kickbox, which is a 53-min cardio workout. I use 1lb weights to supplement the cardio, and usually do the workout on days when I'm not feeling like I have a ton of energy. It's a fun workout and I do enjoy it, but it won't kick your butt the way others do.

I've been with Cathe since the beginning and only rate this as average for an advanced person. It may be more appropriate for beginner or intermediate exerciser. It just doesn't raise my heart rate up enough. In my opinion, KPC is Cathe's best kickbox workout. That being said, I use this workout when it's a cardio day and I don't have a ton of energy. So, it fits the bill in that respect.
