About Lean Legs & Abs

This lower body toning and shaping workout uses both innovative and traditional exercises to shape the thigh muscles. Although all parts of the thigh muscles are used in Lean Legs & Abs, most of the emphasis is placed on the quadriceps and outer thigh muscles to provide the perfect complement to our Great Glutes workout. The sequence in Lean Legs & Abs is designed to keep your heart rate up while incinerating your thighs and revealing your inner six pack. The segment breakdown is as follows: Warm Up; Compound Legs; Chair/Firewalkers; Core; Stretch; and Bonus Barre. Do all of the segments for the most comprehensive results.

Vocals only (cathes voice only, no music)
Normal (Cathes voice plus music with singer vocals)
Instrumental music (Cathes voice plus instrumental music)

Triple Tracks Audio lets you enjoy your Cathe DVDs in different ways. If you dont like sound-a-like, now you can play just the instrumental version. If you prefer to play your own music you can select the vocals only option. Though we cant please everyones musical taste, Triple Tracks Audio is an industry first that should please the majority of workout enthusiast.

This is a great work out and fills all my criteria: it's fun, moves quickly, has lively music and left my legs quivering.  
Regarding the negative comments: as with any Cathe workout, "You get out of it what you put into it".  Modify to suit your level; go heavier with your weights and deeper with your squats, lunges, etc if you aren't feeling challenged.  I am a devoted Cathlete and I am already feeling a bit sore 8 hours after this workout.

This workout was described to be a toning workout for the lower body but it dosen't really challenge the lower body for someone who is advance.  She uses compound moves so you can't really go heavy and using only 8 or 10 pound weights is really not enough weight to be a true leg workout for the lower body.  I think that heavy weights should have been also used to give a true lower body workout. Another viewer posted that Cathe seems tired she is getting older so she might be slowing down. I hope she makes some more challenging lower body workout again.

Lean Legs is the perfect compliment to Great Glutes for a complete leg workout.  Between the two, you will work your entire leg and core.  I like that the compound leg section is used to get your heart rate up while toning the legs.  Also like the music!
