44 minutes seems to be just right to hit every body part, and do some good cardio bursts as well. There is a lot of variety in these exercises, using basic equipment (step, hand weights, resistance bands and weighted ball). I grab this DVD often for a solid all around work out that isn't too long!

I am an intermediate exerciser trying to get back in shape and love this workout. You get a little of everything, cardio, toning and core work in 44 minutes. Although it doesn't provide a lot of strength work, it provides enough muscular challenge that it will enhance the fat burning impact (IMO). I do not think this would be a good choice for a beginning exerciser simply due to the advanced moves, not the length of the workout. I especially like the fact that the non-traditional core work is interspersed throughout the workout. I think the workout functions well as it was intended - fairly short workout that hits lots of bases.

This to me is a bootcamp style workout. Its fast and fun and the music is awesome. I love the music in the Shock Cardio Series, its the best of all of them (excluding STS).

This dvd incorporates Cathes usual moves in a good way. I like the length of the workout but wish she would do less "jumping" excercises, try some new cardio moves and incorporate more weights. I really enjoy her older boot camp + muscle endurance workout and prefer to do half of it (about 30 minutes) because I think it is a better workout with more variety.
