Step Works
Step Works is the typical advanced all-step workout that Cathe is famous for. If you are looking for fun and challenging choreography, you will love this video. Step Works starts with an upbeat mini-step warm-up complete with stretches to prepare you for the workout. Segment one moves quickly with a medley mix of familiar moves used from previous videos but rearranged in new patterns to give them a refreshing twist. Segments two and three both contain cutting-edge choreography. Each of these segments features a more complex combination followed by a basic power combination to keep both the interest level and the heart rate elevated. The step cooldown is more dance/funk-oriented. It is thoroughly broken down for you to have fun with. Strong & Sweaty Cardio Slam Exercise DVD Looking to get a solid, sweaty, high-intensity cardio segment in less than an hour? Then this workout is for you! Prepare yourself for an intense mix of high impact and low impact blasts both on and off the step. In this workout you'll transition from floor cardio to mat cardio to step cardio with a mix of lightly weighted exercises throughout. You'll also see us taking notes to record our selected weight(s) throughout the workout and I encourage you to do the same. This way, the next time you do the workout you can make it even more effective!
Here is how the program works: You'll need to use heavy weight(s) in this XTrain workout and do between 10 and 16 reps for each exercise. I suggest first trying a weight that is about 70% of your one-rep max and make adjustments as needed. Keep in mind if you can easily do 16 reps for any exercise you should select a higher weight the next time you do this workout. Likewise, if you can't do at least eight reps you should consider lowering your weight.
Finally, and I can not stress this enough, in order for this workout to be effective, you need to select a weight and resistance tube that challenges you for each and every exercise while still maintaining good form.

In this active core routine, you will use a barbell plate as you move through a variety of fun standing core exercises to thoroughly warm up your midsection.
